This year's conference had a different vibe! The nuts and bolts information about our District was simplified and reduced and the focus was on inspiring content and speakers. Locations of the awards meals and the plenary sessions were swapped, and as you can see from the image above, the morning sessions were filled with light, and this seemed to create more energy in the room and the audience.
Highlights of the conference include: Karaoke featuring Rotarians, TED Talk star Dan Pallotta on The Power of Purpose, Mark Fernandes. Chief Executive Officer of Capitalism 2.0 and hearing the 2016 4-Way Test Speech winner.
It was evident that our district has no shortage of love for our District Governor, Chris Runion. Chris had the courage to take some risks changing up longstanding conference traditions and his team created a truly memorable experience.
